These elegant chiffon scarves are a limited series of print capturing the original black and white drawing of the center piece of the Love Pavilion by artist Ziui Chen Vance. The Love Pavilion was Chen Vance’s gift to FRIEDA and the community, the transformation of FRIEDA’s glass façade into a church-like stained glass artwork with hundreds of panels.

Chen designed the installation and invited the public to give it life by coloring each panel. Chen “imagines her work as an inter-generational installation in that the animals are representative of different life stages. The monkey exemplifies the first twenty (1-20) years of life, the ram is our twenties to forties (20-40’s), the cat our forties to sixties (40-60’s), and the peafowl our sixties and beyond as a “centenarian” (60-100’s).”

Size: 10” x 45” and 16” x 72”

Material: Poly Chiffon (100% polyester light weight plain weave fabric)

Use and Care: Hand wash cold water with a mild detergent, hang to dry. Can be dry cleaned. Do not bleach.
